Newman Wachs Racing Provides Support to Team Stradale Radical Cup Event in Sonoma

Missig and Schriber look to add podiums to their 2019 Radical Cup North America season

SONOMA, CA (September 27, 2019) – Newman Wachs Racing will join with Team Stradale again for Round 5 of the Blue Marble Cocktails Radical Cup North America, at the 2.52-mile, 12-turn Sonoma Raceway this upcoming weekend (September 27-29). Joliet, Illinois’ Jordan Missig and Glenview, Illinois’ Louis Schriber will be the team’s drivers this weekend, both sitting third and fourth respectively in the 2019 Radical 1500 Championship. NWR has provided support for the duo all season, highlighted by two wins with Missig and four podiums with Schriber. This is the fifth of six rounds this season, which will then lead the drivers and the team south to the spectacular Circuit of the Americas. Once again, Newman Wachs will provide the logistics and mechanics for Team Stradale. Missig and Schriber will take their 226-hp Radical SR3 cars to the track on Friday morning to begin a full day of practice ahead of Saturday morning qualifying that will officially start the Round 5 of the Radical Cup.

“I’m really excited to get back to Radical Cup racing,” offered Brian Halahan, NWR Team Manager. “This is the home track for our driver coach Tom Dyer, so he will be providing Jordan and Louie all the secrets he knows about this place. Jordan and Louis will be very competitive here and I expect them to be at the front of the field in qualifying and all three races.”

Missig and Schriber are on-track starting Friday (September 27), kicking off the tripleheader weekend with four official practice sessions. Saturday starts mid-morning with Qualifying, followed by Race 1 later that day. The weekend will be capped off on Sunday with the running of Race 2 and Race 3. From there, they will head south for the final round at the Circuit of the Americas on November 14-16.
