MUNDELEIN, IL (October 21, 2020) – After a two-week hiatus since the Florida swing of the 2020 Formula Regional Americas Powered by Honda season, the NWR squad heads to Austin, Texas for the tripleheader season finale. The team has had success in it’s first year as a FRA team and hope to continue that on the purpose built 20-turn, 3.427-mile road course this upcoming weekend. Brazilian, Victor Franzoni has been grabbing podiums and adding to his championship points to put himself third in the standings. American, Jordan Missig has used his rookie year to gain experience and fight for podiums. He sits 10th in the championship. The team has been getting more and more consistent, so they are confident that they will end the season with some great results.

“I am really looking forward to this weekend,” Halahan commented. “we had a lot of success here with Jordan last year in the Radical Cup series, so I am hoping for good results out of him. This will be Victor’s first time at COTA, so he will need to get up to speed quickly, but I don’t think that’ll be an issue.”

The drivers will participate in a pair of practice sessions on Friday before heading into qualifying late on Saturday morning. The first race of the tripleheader event will be run on Saturday afternoon (3:15 pm) while the second and third races will hit the track on Sunday (10:50 am / 2:35 pm). Live timing and scoring will be available on the series website (www.framericas.com) and both live video coverage and live timing of the races can be enjoyed on www.fanracing.live.
